Positive: Our stay at Bojewyan Cottage was magical. The property is down a quiet lane, accessed via a beautifully maintained garden. Inside the cottage is also beautifully decorated in an understated coastal style. The kitchen and lounge were large and very well equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were super comfortable with plenty of storage space. In the area there were plenty of great hiking opportunities. Our favourites were starting at the Tin Mine and walking along the coastal path. We enjoyed the hike to Portheras Cove (also starting at the Tin Mine). The cove itself was spectacular, on-par with any beach in Thailand or Crete, especially in the sunshine (which we did eventually get after 2 days of mist!). But even in the mist, the coast was magical, and we enjoyed visiting some of the monoliths in the area during this time. Penzance is only a 15 minute drive away, so very convenient. Facilities in the immediate area: we LOVED the breakfasts and lunches at Geevor Tin Mine Cafe - first you get a spectacular view, second, you get an outstanding pancake! What more could you want. For those watching their waist I would avoid eating at the Trewellard Arms. The interior has a certain appeal, and the mead selection is great, but the food is pretty awful - everything, and I mean everything, is deep fried. We had a fabulous meal at the Trewellard Arms though. The pub is pretty typical (expect sticky tables), the decor also looks pretty atypical, but has some nice touches. Food, especially the fish, was fresh and well cooked. We will definitely be back to this part of Cornwall, and Bonjewyan!

Negative: There was nothing I did not like about Bonjewyan. Gorgeous spot, beautiful, comfortable cottage, amazing memories!

Positive: The house was a very homely feeling place to be. Everything about it is perfect, the facilities are all there. The location is lovely too. It's very peaceful and you are only ever a maximum of 20 minutes away from places you'd like to go and see. The bedrooms were nice and clean, same with the bathroom and the rest of the house. We really had a great time as a group and I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in this area
