Positive: The property was very clean, the decor was lovely. Excellent breakfast.

Negative: Although the breakfast was excellent I didn’t like having to choose what I wanted for breakfast as soon as we arrived at the property. I was expecting a large double bed, something like a king or super king but the bed was a bit disappointing.

Summary: Comfortable stay but I think the price was a little too high.

Positive: This guest house is beautifully appointed, run by great hosts and provides a wonderful breakfast. We stayed in the “Solway” room which is spacious, bright & airy with furniture & fittings of a high quality. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a very nice corner bath / shower and the liquid soaps, shampoo & body wash were luxurious. The hosts, Maurice & Laureen, were so welcoming and helpful with our luggage and in suggesting places to eat. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. It was a shame that we could only stay 1 night but will certainly return if we are in the area.
