The house is very popular since it is the ONLY rental object in the marina that has WC installed and comes with WiFi (1 GB free internet included). It holds one of the best locations in the harbor and accommodates maximum 3 adults or families with younger children.

Inside you will find a well equipped kitchen along with a large outdoor gas barbecue grill. In front of the house there is a furnished deck with a nice view of the marina and on the back there is a smaller deck that offers morning sun and a nice view of the archipelago. For offseason guests there is no reason for freezing - the house is winterized with underfloor heating which allows you to stay there during fall and winter to enjoy salmon fishing.
Showers and additional toilets are located in the service building just 30 m from the cottage. The building is very fresh and contains sections for men and women. Both sections are divided into small bathrooms where you will be able to lock the door to get privacy.
Linens and towels should be brought by the guests. However, if you are traveling by air plane with small luggage, I will try arrange someone to get you linens for an additional cost. Please ask me when checking availability!
The marina is appreciated for its peacefulness which allows good time for reading a book or just relax on the decks. For the small children there is a popular playground and there is possible to fish from all piers and jetties (no license needed). 20 meters behind the cottage there is a platform suitable for swimming. In nearby “Vita sannar" you will find a nice beach as well as a heated pool. You will also be able to rent bikes, canoes and tennis courts. Dalsland Canal boat trips can be booked in neighboring locations as "Upperud" and “Håverud". If interested in playing golf you will find the golf court just 1 km from the marina.
NOTICE!
During high season (15/7 - 18/8) there is only 7 days rental with changeover Saturdays. All other periods is a minimum of 2-3 nights stay.

The marina is situated 4 km from nearest train & bus station - I really recommend traveling by car.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Sunnanå harbor. The house had everything you needed , including a small bathroom and a fully useful kitchen. A cozy small house with a nice veranda and a large grill we used for barbequing almost every evening. The close by Håverud aqueduct & canal is well worth a visit and has a fish restaurant with tasty fresh fish (salmon etc). Mikael and Peter answered any questions we may have swiftly and gave us good information about the neighborhood. We hope to come again to beautiful Vänern and Sunnanå harbor.

Summary: Everything was really good, we will comeback maybe next year. The house had a well equipped kitchen as promised but we almost only used the barbeque grill on the veranda. Showers was very clean and there was no problem to get privacy. All local neighbors was very friendly and helped us with direction to good spots in the surrounding area.

Summary: We had a short visit in “Sunnana” and had a really great time. The marina is nice with lot of friendly people. The house was more than we expected – small place but contained all that we needed!

Summary: We had a really good time at Vänern and in the cottage. Very nice and beautiful surroundings in the marina-area. The cottage was very functional with everything you needed for a comfortable vacation, even a small bathroom! Big sundeck just outside with a grill, perfect in the evening to prepare a nice meal. We would definitely come back.

Summary: + showers very clean washing machine and drier for free very pleasant place neightbours very nice and helpfull we asked for a baby bed but they forgot, when we calledthe came quickly - vaccum was not functionning : we had to repair it by ourselves.... 2 single beds insteed of a double one > this was REALLY NOT SPECIFIED !! cottage dirty wifi not available : we had to pay for it and this was not mentionned again... showers outside the cottage not a lot of activities to do because in the major part of the cottage owners are living ans they have their own canoe, bike...

Summary: The small house was really perfect for our little family, me and my husband and our two years old baby. It’s not declared in the information but there was a baby cot that we could use so we didn’t need to bring our own bed – perfect when you have a small car and short of space. The harbor is really nice and quiet and we spent a lot of time on the two verandas watching boats and reading. There is also a playground with a swing set close where our little son spent much time. The only thing we missed was that the water in May still is too cold for us to swim – we did a good try last day! Next time we will come back in July then it will be even more perfect!
