Positive: The property is in an incredible location, close to everything in the golden circle. It is just down the road from Friðheimar, (which is well worth the visit and definitely book!) The views are incredible and the cabin is very stylish with everything you need (including under floor heating!)

Negative: Super minor, but the towel rail was broken, (very easily rectified). The coffee table is a beautiful piece of live edge wood, however we had some near spills as it isn’t flat (maybe a glass top or fill in with resin). Very minor issues for such a wonderful place!

Summary: Absolutely stunning, perfect location and stylish. Will definitely stay again!

Positive: Super cozy cabin, very modern, there are a few houses close by but orientation is perfect so it feels very isolated! Super nice hot tub, already warm when we arrived, easy to get the keys. Recommend very much!! Well equipped kitchen, we cooked 2 meals and it was great, also coffee machine with coffee available. Very good communication with the host

Negative: Indications on how to arrive were a bit unclear at the end but since we went on day light we managed to find it. I would say the living room seating (couch and chair) is a bit small for 4 people

Positive: Great hot tub. Perfect to sit outside watching the northern lights for hours in cold temperatures! Good sized living room and bathroom. Very new, well equipped kitchenette, great shower, spotlessly clean. Easy to access with the lock box, and checkout with a button on the wall.

Negative: The bedroom is small for luggage storage / access. We expected dark skies, but the location is relatively close to some agricultural greenhouses in a nearby village which emit an orange glow all night.

Positive: Everything you could ever need in one package, beautiful cabin with multiple rooms, fridge, stove, cookware, spice, tea, kettle, etc etc. lovely view with a really simple hot tub spacious for 2. No staff, just codes and a stress free stay

Negative: Shower floor was slightly angled away from the drain creating a bit of a mess to squeegee up.

Summary: 10/10 will be back
