Positive: The room was cozy and the AC heated up fast. Everything was clean. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and spoke great English! They even gave me some recommendations for restaurants and cooked me breakfast in the morning although I hadn't signed up for it, which was delicious, traditional korean with fish, veg and rice. I think it is usually extra but there was a bit of miscommunication so they didn't charge me. I also washed my laundry - there is no dryer but I managed to dry everything overnight in my room / on the clothesline in the garden. Parking out front.

Summary: Short but sweet stay! Thank you!

Positive: The property was nice and in a really local area and neighborhood near Pyoseon. It’s right near the ocean and olle trail and it’s right near bus stops. I took the bus and also got early morning taxi to Hallasan and back. Originally I was going to rent a car, and I do recommend renting if you can, but it’s certainly doable going by bus and taxi. The young couple that runs the guesthouse were really nice and accommodating! Served a delicious breakfast too! Plus cats!

Negative: That it was somewhat far from a lot of activities, esp west side stuff. That is the only “downside” where the guesthouse is located.
