Positive: Great location for the distance I wanted to cycle. Great food. Very kind hosts but asking too much for reviews which makes you feel like the review is more important than you. Offered coffee with breakfast but then charged 20k for coffee on top of breakfast. Trick with hot water is to turn water on move handle to the left and when the pump kicks in turn back to the right to the desired temperature being careful to not initially be in the flow.

Positive: Our accommodation is a typical Vietnamese house with very high ceilings. The family is very friendly and responds promptly to all our questions. Our dinner was vegan and vegetarian, and it tasted fantastic. The pancakes in the morning were unusual, sweet but with vegetables. I would have preferred them with a variety of fruits and a little honey, and less fat. The accommodation is very poorly furnished. Only one bed! We had to put everything on the floor, and unfortunately, it wasn't very clean. There's potential for improvement: a mirror, a shelf for our things, and a bedside lamp, I'd suggest. The bathroom was large, and we didn't mind sharing it with another couple at all. Eventually, I even figured out the right setting for the shower faucet, so I could enjoy a wonderful hot shower after the long day of rain! The sink was also very greasy and hadn't seen a cleaning sponge in a long time. What a shame! Overall, though, it was totally fine, and the hosts are really lovely!

Positive: If you want a real vietnamese experience this is the place to go. We had an amazing dinner and great conversations with the family. Lovely elderly couple :) This in my opinion is a true homestay.

Positive: This homestay was incredibly welcoming, with a beautiful and big space to stay. They made us dinner which was an incredible home cooked meal (one of my favorite meals while in Vietnam!!), and delicious pancakes for breakfast. The hosts were very kind, and showed us around their garden which they harvest from for meals. The town is small and very sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Positive: This was the best homestay we stayed at our whole trip in Vietnam. We stopped here halfway between Phong Nha and Hue. The room was spacious and clean, with air con. Bathroom also clean and good hot water. The best part however was the family who welcomed us and another group as their own children. We got an amazing dinner and breakfast, and they sent us off with water for our journey. The family was so kind and I felt like I was with my own Vietnamese parents.

Positive: Extremely friendly hosts. They really tried to make us feel comfortable and at home. They gave us delicious local food and plenty of it. Had a good sleep as well! Don’t expect a hotel, the host knows he cannot compete with that, but everything came from a very kind and warm heart. Would visit again anytime!
