Summary: We had a relaxing stay at the Blue Heron Retreat. The house is as described. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice sitting out on the decks having our morning coffee and listening to the birds. We used the hot tub every day since it’s shaded by trees so even though we had hot weather, we were still able to use it during the day.

Summary: Had a great time at Blue Heron Retreat! House was perfect for 6 adults. House was equipped with everything we needed. We spent the majority of our time out on the covered deck enjoying nature and views of the river. Would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone looking to relax and/or explore Solomos and surrounding areas! Thanks for the great stay!

Summary: Two couples stayed for a long weekend during an historical heat wave. And even with the heat we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the shadinees of the of tree canopies over the hot tub and the very comfortable covered porch.The secured umbrella stand on the dock also allowed us to spend ample time on the dock, and some of our party also kayaked. The house itself was the perfect size for us (only the lower bath being a little small) and very well appointed. We will likely be back to enjoy some more peace and quiet, relaxation, and fun with our friends again.

Summary: Great location and great property. Beautiful surroundings with a deck that puts you in touch with the outdoors. Weather was perfect and we spend most of time at the property on the deck. Home was clean, week maintained and nicely furnished and decorated. We were able to take advantage of the location on the water kayaking and fishing. Definitely 5 stars and I would recommend it to others. The host was to communicate with and answered all my questions prior to the trip. We had a fantastic weekend and hope to stay there again!
