Summary: Had an upgraded room (which we paid for) on the first floor. No AC, absolutely roasting hot and there was just an old Dyson fan. Asked the receptionist if they could be another fan in the room = declined. We had the windows open and the house from the bar just there kept us up. We weren’t advised of any of the restaurants or the breakfast. Go anywhere else in Kinsale

Summary: Central location means it is loud and difficult to park, but handy for bars and shops etc. Our room didn’t have a kettle in but one was provided quickly when requested from Reception.

Summary: The Blue Haven is a fantastic hotel with very good rooms and facilities in the hotel rooms, and decor which is full of character in a superb location close to the Main Street and in the middle of Kinsale. The only criticism I would have would be the breakfast seemed limited in its offering and there weren’t many staff in the ground floor restaurant in the morning. Otherwise the Reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Summary: Room was well appointed wit excellent electrical appliances i.e hairdryer and fan.The only disappointment was the shower poor temperature and access safety points handle in shower could be better placed room 11
