Positive: I loved the gardens and the apartment. The view over the pond and gardens and lake in the distance. A lot of bird life also. Beautifully clean and maintained. Quite romantic. The swimming pool and pool bar are really good and well managed.

Negative: There was nothing at all that we didn’t like. I made the mistake of not knowing about the air con system , which was my only quibble, but there is one! So apologies for that . It is a lovely holiday environment and so safe and secure. And quiet.

Summary: Beautiful apartment complex really well run and maintained.

Positive: Apartment was recently renovated and up to date inside, while looking traditionally Portuguese on the outside. Very clean with great space and brilliant shower facilities. Good sized TV with Netflix etc. Great kitchen area if cooking on holidays is your thing. The pool area is great and the pool is very clean. There is a small restaurant at the pool for food/drink while sunbathing which is handy. Over all very enjoyable with some beautiful restaurants in Quinta. Ideal for a couples break.

Negative: Out of no fault of anybody, you could hear the people in the apartments below and next door. (Thin walls). The apartment was only cleaned once in 9 days. We had no replacement towels. We ended up buying some more towels from a local shop while waiting for the cleaners to leave more. Reception didn’t want to know about it and told us to contact whoever we had booked from. On our last morning we went for breakfast early before checkout. When we returned (2 hours before checkout) the cleaners were already cleaning for the next guests (cleaner said), We didn’t feel very comfortable with the cleaners working around the rest of our unpacked stuff. Felt very rushed leaving.

Positive: We made our own mostly

Negative: There was no hand soap in the bathroom or shower gel which would have been very helpful and not a large outlay for the owner

Summary: It was a nice location and for a short time break it was pleasant.

Negative: More towels needed , maybe a welcome pack Water Milk coffee etc We arrived late at night and couldn’t get a drink anywhere - would have made a massive difference to be able to get a coffee in the morning. Had to walk 30mins to cafe
