Positive: Lovely location and comfortable kitchen and cosy 1st floor sitting room with open fire. We wanted to have 8 for Christmas although only 4 stayed and that worked well. Even had a pretty Christmas tree! Excellent local patisserie and shop open on Christmas Day and beautiful walks by river and bridge down the road.

Negative: The toilet on the top floor is basically in the attic bedroom with no door and open at sides at the top of a spiral staircase that leads to the sitting room. No one would use that so we only had one small loo/shower off the sitting room for 6-8. Also the stairs were very slippery from kitchen to sitting room - slippers or non slip shoes recommended!

Summary: Lovely location and comfortable cottage.

Positive: Fantastic location close to the river and in the heart of the village. Great kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of space for the family to relax and sleep.

Negative: The neighbour was unnecessarily rude about us parking at the back of the house to unpack.
