Summary: Highly recommend this property for a wonderful getaway. Spacious, clean, beautiful, well-appointed home and grounds. Our family really enjoyed our time here and will definitely return. The owner is very reachable, provides very helpful information, is great to communicate with. We especially enjoyed the fire pit, the well-stocked kitchen and the large living/dining areas. Will be back!

Summary: Looking for a place where my family (10 members from age 6-70) could safely gather during the pandemic, the Lodge at Blanco River Retreat was all I hoped it would be. Secluded, scenic, with more than enough gorgeous space, both inside and out, for us to talk, play games, comfortably cook and dine, both inside at a table at which 10 could dine comfortably, or on the deck outside. The grandchildren “lived” in the large pool and were able to play downstairs without having to worry about being “too noisy”. Bedroom accommodations, each with their own bath, were very comfortable, each decorated to reflect a love of the Texas Hill Country. Would love to come back when the river was at a higher level to be able to enjoy the kayaks and paddle board.

Summary: We had an excellent time with family at the house. The communication was smooth, and property was lovely. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the river, lounging in the hammock and swimming in the pool and hot tub. Deer came by every evening.
