Each day brought simple, memorable moments—collecting fresh eggs in the morning, wandering through the veggie patch, and joining in on feeding the animals, which was such a highlight. As the sun dipped, the farm transformed into something truly special. Evenings by the fire pit, followed by incredible stargazing, made for the perfect end to each day. Waking up early was absolutely worth it, with breathtaking sunrises, and we were lucky enough to catch a stunning moonrise as well. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and appreciate the little things. Positive: As two families with young school aged kids, this location was a perfect weekend getaway for us. We loved the daily farm animal feedings, and adored the family doggies that visited us daily - they were adorable. The ample pantry staples were very welcomed and breakfast ingredients stocked in our house. The fresh eggs we could collect were delish!! Bring cash for firewood and any extra locally grown veggies. Emma, our host, was very helpful during our stay.

Negative: Check out is at 10am.. be on time because the house keeper will turn up at 10 past 10 looking very grumpy!!! We felt very rushed while packing our car after enjoying a lovely slow weekend.
