Positive: I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The people were very kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. The food was great. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean — perfect to relax after a day exploring. The location couldn’t be better: it’s close to the dolphin watching area, the indigenous community, and Monkey Island. They also have a beautiful bay where you can watch the sunrise and a cozy tree house that’s perfect if you want some privacy and quiet time surrounded by nature. I also loved their small shop with beautiful local handicrafts — great for finding unique and interesting souvenirs. Plus, there’s a station with potable water and coffee available 24/7, which was a great bonus.

Negative: I didn’t like that the pool wasn’t working at all during my stay — from the first day until the last. I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days, and every day they mentioned it would be ready “the next day,” but unfortunately it never was. They kindly compensated me with a free artesanal fishing and dolphin-watching activity, which I appreciated, but five days without the pool felt like too much, especially since I booked the place hoping to relax. Also, at check-out, the receipt for my consumptions didn’t include prices or quantities or clarity, so I was a bit confused about the total amount. Lastly, the breakfast hours are quite early, which can be inconvenient if you want to rest a little more.

Summary: Beautiful and relaxing stay surrounded by nature, despite a few inconveniences.

Positive: Right in the forest! You'll see plenty of birds and reptiles on hotel grounds. They do a great job of helping to organize tours for you. The staff is very accommodating.

Negative: For the price of the stay, I felt the restaurant could have had a bit more variation in the meals.

Positive: Beautiful property with lovely location on the river. Fantastic swimming pool. 3 good meals a day. Nice, fresh cooked food which was varied each day. Chef was very thoughtful and all staff were very polite and friendly. Andre on the bar was lovely and always smiling. The rooms were very clean and spacious No signal whilst you are there but the WiFi was fantastic. Reached the room and never dropped out. Vincent who took us out to one of the tours was lovely and put a lot of effort into finding the dolphins. Facilities and staff cannot fault

Negative: Be prepared for cold showers as no hot water in the hotel. Also when transferring to/from the hotel factor in more time. The boat from Leticia takes almost an hour rather than 30 minutes advised and does run late. Biggest disappointment however was the lack of English speakers. Nobody on reception that can speak English. When we’re asked about the tours in English we were told there would be an English translator. This never transpired and they said my partner (who is Brazilian) ‘will have to translate.’ Spanish is not her first or second language and so much of the details of tours we missed out as there was no translator. This was very disappointing. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is the one, if you’re looking to see more wildlife I would say this is not the best one

Positive: The food options were great and the food always tasted fresh. The beverages also were very good and complimented the food very well. the staff were very attentive and even made sure we never missed any of our meals.

Negative: the bed frame was supported by wood beams but it seemed like there were pieces missing , therefore the bed sunk in. I highly recommend to travel light because you have to walk a bit far to get to the hotel from where the boat docks. Don't bring any luggage of any size just keep it in a bag pack.

Positive: It was the best part of our seven week stay in Colombia. The staff was just amazing. The food was the best we had in the whole of Colombia. We could have stayed forever. The tours we did were also great. I cannot recommend it enough.

Positive: The property is about a 40 minute boat ride up the river from Leticia. We had to meet at the office in town at 7am to pay and then walk to the dock about a kilometre to take the boat to the property. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the property is large but when we were there there were very few guests. The hotel arranged a few tours for us and the night tour especially was amazing done by our guide Juan. Special thanks to Herman for taking care of us and Ricardo at the bar who was great. We found the staff wonderful and really helpful.

Negative: Arranging the boat to the property seemed a bit confusing and very limited times.
