Positive: We loved our short stay at Bilin Villa, Ahangama. We were meant to stay nearby, but our booking was cancelled at the last minute. We were so glad to find Bilin Villa not far away, as the family who owns it immediately came to let us in (they also brought us a cold Coke and a bottle of water each). We were amazed by the quality of the Villa and the compound that surrounds it. They must have put lots of time and money into it, because it felt way too fancy for us. Also, after a very peaceful night, we woke up to find 2 coconuts waiting outside our room, ready to drink. We felt so grateful for our stay and wish we had more time to enjoy it.

Negative: The Villa was a little hard to find at first, as the location on Booking.com was off by several hundred metres. The location might be too far from the beach for some people, but it was fine for us. We loved the short walk to town, waving to lovely locals and marvelling at the exquisite tropical plants that we adore so much. Once there, the peace and tranquillity that the short distance from town gives is priceless.

Positive: We had a really great stay at Bilin Villa. The hosts were very attentive and easy to contact at all times. The villa felt very new and was very clean. We would definitely come back to stay here!

Negative: The aircon wasn’t extremely cold so sometimes the room did feel a little too warm but it was fine!
