Negative: The first four km’s of the dirt road. It was badly damaged by a severe rainstorm the previous day.

Positive: Lovely location with the stables forming a nice air of sophistication. The staff were very friendly and the food was of high quality

Negative: The room needed attention, clear plumbing issues, broken mirrors in the bathroom. The mattress felt as if it was collapsing possibly not the correct one for the frame. Of concern is the condition of one of the owners dogs. It appears that it has not been brushed in ages and smells. We love animals but left being a bit concerned.

Summary: Pleasant stop over, which could have been great.

Positive: Amazing place with wonderful facilities, beautiful surrounds and a fantastic ambiance. Our pets were made to feel very welcome and we particularly enjoyed the hike as well as the generous pool. Love the honesty bar and very much appreciated the complimentary tea / coffee station with daily delights. Waking up, witnessing the sunrise and visiting the horse stables was a real highlight. Food was nice enough (7/10).

Negative: It was a our first time visiting the property and we will choose a more suitable room category next time. We missed having a shower and found the room a little narrow / cramped (particular with our dogs). Our chosen room category would be our only negative but we will be wiser next time. And there will definitely be a next time!

Summary: A wonderful experience and destination in its own right.
