Positive: We received detailed communication in advance from Hercus, and he welcomed us on arrival. The property is attractive, and the room was well equipped and comfortable. Hercus recommended a restaurant within walking distance that had just won Best Restaurant in the Northern Cape, where we had an excellent dinner. We would certainly stay at Coniston Villa again.
Negative: Google Maps needs to be updated on the presence of one-way streets around Coniston Villa.

Positive: As an overnight stop in Colesberg, this spot is excellent value for money. Extra effort has been made to make the rooms more than just "rooms" - we like the heritage feel with a modern touch. Comfortable linen, quality towels, a good shower, and all the essentials if you need to cook in. Definitely recommend Coniston as a great place to break the journey.

Positive: We had a very pleasant stay at the guesthouse. The rooms were clean, comfortable & beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming and willing to help. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for warm hospitality and excellent service.
