With an open floor plan, every corner of this home showcases the panoramic beauty of Coral Bay’s mouth as it meets the ocean. And yes, there is AC throughout the entire house for your comfort.
As you soak in the scenery, you’ll also be serenaded by the soothing sounds of waves crashing against Friis Bay’s shores and feel the refreshing trade-wind breezes on the expansive deck. The view can’t be beat! Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean - there is not a more relaxing sound!
Horizon’s Edge features three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite and remarkable views. Access is effortless with just three steps from the flat driveway to the entrance, making it convenient for those with mobility concerns. Interior stairs lead to the additional bedrooms and laundry room, providing both accessibility and privacy. There is a spacious dining area for six, a well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and soft-close drawers, and a cozy family room perfect for unwinding. The primary suite boasts a luxurious four-poster king bed, offering stunning sunrise views or the option for restful slumber with blackout curtains. The ensuite features an exquisite octopus penny tile mural in the shower, adding a touch of artistry to your stay.
While not ADA compliant, Horizon’s Edge offers several mobility-friendly features such as a flat driveway, minimal steps to the front door, a first-floor bedroom with ensuite, and wide doors. The road to access the villa is very manageable and parking is right in front of the main door. All rooms are under one roof - which is not always the case here on the island!
Located in Coral Bay, known as the “sleepy” side of the island, this villa is ideal for hikers, nature enthusiasts, snorkelers, and adventurers seeking outdoor experiences. Immerse yourself in the charm of Coral Bay’s down island vistas, encounters with wild donkeys, and occasional traffic jams caused by the island’s resident goats and sheep. Nearby, you’ll find a selection of restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery stores, ensuring convenience during your stay. Our favorite Calabash Market, Skinny Legs (best cheeseburgers), and Salt Pond Beach are just minutes away.
Our home is very family friendly with coloring books, games, and a bracelet making kit for those moments of relaxing or rainy days. We also have a nice variety of books to read on the beach! Don't forget to feed our bananaquits that love to eat sugar from the bird feeder out front. We also have resident tortoises, donkeys and goats that will wander about the property!
Two coolers, snorkel gear, beach chairs, paddle boards and towels are all provided for you so that you can make the most amazing memories here in St. John. Our house also has a hot tub.

Summary: Everything about this place is perfect! It’s beautiful, it’s clean, the kitchen has all you need to prepare and serve meals, the living area has plentiful seating, beds are so comfortable, bathrooms were stocked and the views breathtaking!! Five stars for everything and having Dwight help with any questions was priceless. He was so welcoming and made us feel “at home” from day one. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us

Summary: The house the roads to the house were very manageable (not a steep drive). The house was clean, had needed items, and had amazing views. Sitting on the deck was peaceful and hearing the ocean at night was a huge plus! Mosquitos in the house were annoying but two zappers were provided. The AC unit in the master started leaking water (annoying) by Dwight did what he could to get AC maintenance to the house.

Summary: Outstanding experience staying at Horizon's Edge. It's obvious from the beginning that the owners and property manager take pride in ensuring their guests have the best experience. The communications were among the best we've experienced in our long history of renting vacation properties. The responsiveness whether it be for packing tips, travel recommendations, questions during the stay, or checking out was consistently fast and excellent. The property itself is outstanding and the pictures provided in the description do not do it justice. It had everything we needed and more. We had been to St. John before and were concerned the property might be a little too remote. In actuality, we had a far better experience on the island from this location than we did closer to Cruz Bay. You get a wonderfully maintained property that has spectacular views, quiet privacy to enjoy your surroundings while having better access to beaches including those on the East End. We will definitely be looking for the availability of this property for our next visit to the island.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It is very well appointed with everything that we needed for cooking, relaxing, and beaching. Dwight, the property manager, provided us with precise information and is a very good communicator. We enjoyed listening and relaxing to the waves while on the deck enjoying our coffee and cocktails. We've been coming to St John for 20 years and do recommend this villa! Thank you to the owners and Dwight!

Summary: This is a beautiful to spend a few days (or months.) The house is well-appointed with more than enough room for our foursome. Check in was easy. Dwight was both very proactive and responsive… an excellent property manager. We used the provided the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas that we needed. It is within a 10 minute drive to several restaurants. Tip for coming to the VI - you’ll often be in areas without cell service. Download offline maps before you go. If you’re using Google maps, search “Horizon’s Edge” and it will get you direct to the house. Using an address will only get you to the general vicinity.

Summary: Amazing stay at Horizon's Edge. The house was great for 6 people with 3 separate bedroom/bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor seating for 6. I especially liked the location which was not too far up the hill so that you could hear the ocean at night. Sitting on the deck at night you could see thousands of stars. The house was well equipped with beach chairs and extra snorkeling gear. The St.Johns themed beach books were a fun extra treat which we enjoyed! Check in was easy and Dwight was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.
