Summary: There are so many good things about this place that range from the kindness of the owners and the suitability of the apartment to how near everything is to the apartment. Jelena and her husband are the kindest owners that you will ever meet who are very accommodating and helpful and the apartment and it’s facilities suited an 8 person group very well. It’s near to lovely beaches and restaurants and takeaways and is a cheap uber away from Split which is the hub of where everything is. I would really recommend staying here with a group or a family and again the owners are so friendly and kind we can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done.

Summary: The property was extremely clean and spacious, and the bathrooms have recently been remodeled. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She even brought us fresh bakery goods everyday. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, and the yard was beautiful. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment!

Summary: he apartment is fantastic. It had everything you need, from a bottle opener to a deck of cards. And if you can't find something you can always ask the owners who are very friendly. It was our home away from home. We will definitely come back.

Summary: Jelena and her husband were unbelievably generous and kind hosts. This was the best vacation home experience we ever had! Not only was the apartment very clean with a well stocked kitchen, BBQ place, big garden and new bathrooms, but we also found a big bowl of fruit on the kitchen table, drinks in the fridge and were given a huge bag full of different kinds of freshly baked bread every morning! What a treat! Jelena also surprised us with home made cakes that were super delicious. The apartment itself is super clean and offered everything we needed and more. It’s also conveniently located for day trips in all directions. We can highly recommend this place to families and hope to be able to stay there again sometime in the future. Thanks again to Jelena and her husband for a wonderful stay!

Summary: This apartment is very comfortable, good value, well-equipped, and with a fantastic view from the balcony. For only three of us, it was very roomy. The beds were comfortable, which is important for me as I have arthritis. It was a nice bonus to have a dishwasher. With 7-10 people, the sitting room and especially the kitchen would be a bit on the small side, but there is plenty of space overall in the property. Jelena and Slav gave us a wonderful welcome and were extremely helpful with every aspect. They also provided us with gorgeous fresh bread from their bakery, and even cooked us a delicious barbecue! Kastel Sucarac is well positioned for both Split and Trogir. The nearest beach is less than a kilometre away, but nicer ones are a little bit further down the coast, for example at Kastel Gamilica. The Adriatic sea is lovely wherever you can get in it. We love snorkelling and get to see lots of wildlife every time. Swimming off the nearby island of Ciovo is fantastic, though the roads are more difficult there than on the mainland. In the other direction, just beyond Split, the Marjan peninsula is also lovely. The two old cities of Split and Trogir are amazing. I would definitely recommend Apartment Marinely to anyone planning a holiday in Dalmatia.
