Positive: Bergues is a delightful historic French town. We loved our Fromagerie and Patisserie visits and purchases. Bienvenue Chez Nous is a gorgeous Auberge and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room, St. Winoc, was outstanding. Fabulous restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next morning was also excellent. Valérie and her staff were attentive and lovely. There is safe street parking directly outside. We are definitely planning to return. Highly recommend.

Positive: From start to finish, this far exceeded expectations. Valerie is fantastic. Great communication and did everything to make our stay absolutely superb. Beds Fabulous. Home made croissants, beautiful bread, jams, cheeses, fruit juice and coffee. Fabulous Christmas decorations too!

Positive: This was our second stay, two weeks earlier on our way down to Austria, and then our last night before the Channel Tunnel and home. Once again we had a very comfortable stay, with an excellent dinner, and Valerie was again a kind and thoughtful hostess. In a way it was a pity that we did not have more time to explore this interesting and historical region.
