Summary: Very Disappointing – Needs Major Renovation I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Beyond Kata Hotel. The hotel is very outdated and, in my opinion, does not meet the standard expected of a 4- or 5-star property. Cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, there was visible mold around the corners of the shower, and some of the tiles were broken. The elevators were also extremely dirty, and the corridors and walkways looked old and poorly maintained. The level of service was another major disappointment. After 5 p.m., there was no concierge available. When we needed a taxi, we were simply told to go outside the hotel area and find one ourselves. The lobby also closes down at night, with the lights turned off and virtually no hotel services available apart from reception. The breakfast was also below the standard I would expect from a hotel of this category. The only real positive is the location. The hotel is directly on the seafront and has beautiful sea views. Unfortunately, the location and view cannot compensate for the poor cleanliness, outdated facilities, lack of service, and overall condition of the property. This hotel is in urgent need of renovation and significant improvement in housekeeping and guest services. Based on my experience, I would rate it below 3 stars and would not stay here again.

Summary: The hotel has a beautiful view. Clean rooms, bed was firm but ok. The staff were always helpful and very friendly. Good shower. Nice pool which was not deep, 1.25m at deepest. The beach is good to swim at but lots of rubbish at low tide, tourists need to pick up rubbish. Lots of Russians who are weirdly, very good not acknowledging anyone around them, but do quietly enjoy their holidays. Overall, great hotel for clean comfortable and relaxing stay.

Summary: I traveled with my husband for our honeymoon, and I asked if they could prepare something special. They made a cute decoration on the bed with rose petals! All the employees were friendly and helpful, every single one of them. They were always around when I needed extra towels or more bottles water. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, although a bit crowded after 9am. But if you arrive before that, then it's completely peaceful. The swimming pool was nice, with a shallow part for kids. From the resort, it's easy to walk around Kata and access a variety of restaurants and spas. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Summary: The big plus of this hotel is it's location directly onto the beach which is beautifully sandy with warm clear waters and shallow shelf. The room was very comfortable and the decor made it feel very relaxed. The hotel is set back from the busy road so there is no noise! Location is excellent with plants of shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Sea views from the rooms are excellent (we were on the 4th floor). The dining room offers a wide choice of options for breakfast.
