Summary: After seeing the map, I was looking forward to this stay since it appeared the hotel was isolated from Ruidoso Downs, but I still wasn't sure if it was far enough from the highway. Luckily, my instincts were right, and this was a great escape in Ruidoso! Since I was looking for something cost effective, cabins were out, but I don't think we missed much with this hotel! The rooms were HUGE, everything was in good shape, and views (especially with us facing the mountain) were beautiful! The facility had a good layout, with a very nice courtyard. Since there were multiple buildings - and even a separate facility for breakfast - this felt more like a resort than a standard hotel. The staff was kind and efficient, and everything looked clean and in good shape. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with plenty of options to choose from. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but the area looked nice and well kept. And overall, the property felt safe and was a nice alternative to much higher priced options in town. If we stay in the Ruidoso area in the future, this will definitely be at the top of my list of options.

Summary: I absolutely loved mine and my husband’s stay at this hotel. The most beautiful grounds the friendliest staff. Great morning full breakfast please try the tamales at breakfast blew my mind. Would definitely definitely stay again.
