Summary: We reserved a non smoking room and found out at the check in that the room we were booked in was not pet friendly,,so there we were with two dogs and after much ado the room we were given reeked of smoke.

Summary: This hotel is super close to being done with renovations as they are still working on the lobby. Our renovated room was so nice and I wish all hotels would put flooring down instead of carpet cause the floor felt much cleaner! We brought our 2 huskies and they accommodated us very well. It was a great stay and we will stay here every time we come to Montrose if we decide not to camp!

Summary: Montrose was expensive for the overnight, but this property was well worth it. Newly renovated rooms, close to everything we were interested in doing, nice breakfast in the a.m.

Summary: I made this reservation at the last minute looking for an affordable single room night. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the hotel. It looked like a brand-new remodel. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.

Summary: Hotel name I booked under was not name on sign out front of Hotel, Hotel changed to a Best Western with no notice on the Booking and I could not find hotel vis GPS because the name did not match out front. Could have placed a banner outside showing change with former name. Lobby was under construction for an elevator with all the materials sitting outside the entrance doors under the canopy. The room was newly redone and looked nice but toilet would run at intervals, debris would drop on my head from the exhaust fan in the bathroom, one of the when on, one of the two windows had no curtain or shade and an outside light was shining in my room all night. The full service breakfast had no decaf coffee, only 1 pod in room to make yourself.
