Summary: Room was clean and staff was friendly. They even let me use the breakfast microwave for my evening meal so that my room would not smell.

Summary: We were given Rm 222 and after we were unpacked and ready to watch TV, there was no sound. Went to front desk and we ended up have to pack back up and move to Rm 134. When we made the reservation, we indicated we needed a room where no pets had been for at least 1/2 months. When we got in Rm 134, we knew there had been pets there. We could not sit on the sofa with itching. We put the bedspread and blanket on there so we could sit. We took extra Allergy meds. We could not wait to leave in the morning. At breakfast, everything looked good, the area was very clean, there was a nice assortment of foods. The breakfast lady was in there quite often making sure things were clean and replenished.

Summary: Our room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and they took care to make sure we had a pet free room. The breakfast was delicious. Many choices and constantly being replenished. The only thing is the quality of plastic ware needs to be upgraded. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We always stay here on our FL trips. Great job.

Summary: We stay here every year as we snowbird south. I had made my reservation and scheduled our stops when Mother Nature decided to dump the first measurable snowfall of the season in pretty much the whole Midwest. Traveling was expected to be dangerous so we decided to leave a day early and beat the storm. I reserved another night at the Best Western Delta in Effingham (so easy through Hotels.com) and when we checked in, the front desk gal was so pleasant. We asked if we could stay in the same room for both nights, (they were 2 separate reservations) and she did her magic. She even made sure that my rewards were applied to my rewards card. As going anywhere was out of the question, we hunkered down and watched the storm pass. We were so glad to have a safe, comfortable haven in our travels. Check in gal was very pleasant and accommodating. She even delivered extra pillows and a blanket to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable when we arrived. Nice job cleaning crew! The breakfast was way better than some of the other hotel chains we have experienced. The attendant did an excellent job in keeping food available and keeping things clean. Not to mention she had a very nice smile. All in all, I highly recommend the Best Western Delta Inn in Effingham, IL for a clean, pleasant, comfortable stay on your journeys.
