Summary: Quick one night stay while visiting Redwood National area. Room was dark enough for this night shift worker and the breakfast was stocked of the usual choices. Quiet enough area with conveniences close by.

Summary: Stayed 2 nights to drop my child at college. Feel the nightly rate was price gouged! Too expensive for an old hotel. Room was clean but door lock was broken and they did not have another room. Maintenance did come and fix it the next day. Surprisingly the breakfast included was quite good and had many selections. They never emailed me my receipt as asked upon checking out.

Summary: It was easy, clean, convenient. Nothing fancy. Staying for a couple day trips into redwoods. About 30ish min drive away. Free breakfast was nice. Cute little coffee place across the street

Summary: The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with our room, beds were comfortable and the TV was big with Netflix and YouTube which is a definite plus for us. The premises were very quiet and convenient to coffee shops and grocery stores. We visited the bird sanctuary which was very close by our hotel.We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Arcata.

Summary: The room was clean and comfortable. The beds and towels smelled fresh. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I slept well with my ear plugs. Walls very thin, could hear everything outside, above and some next door. Kids running around in room above us. Breakfast was overall good but surfaces hadn’t been wiped down in a while. There were no clean tables, they all had crumbs or sticky stains. The waffles were delicious but the one wafflemaker was impossible to flip and no one was around to help, half of the batter dripped out while it beeped loudly.

Summary: Walls were very thin and could hear people outside room and people above could hear every time they walk. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good.

Summary: I had a problem reserving an accessible room online using a third party website so I just booked a regular room hoping it would be easy to switch rooms if I arrived to the hotel early. When I arrived in Arcata I called the hotel toninq the front desk informed me they couldn't help me so they transferred me to They transferred me to customer relations where they informed me they couldn't switch rooms for me because I used a third party site to book the room. So when I arrived at the hotel I explained my issue and she immediately switched my room. The young lady behind the counter on June 17 in the evening was my hero. I wish I remembered her name. But I couldn't believe the run around BW gave me when I called but it did evenrually work out.
