Positive: Excellent host, unique and historically interesting location (modernized former police post from the 1980’s in a typical Dutch residential area - literally living among the locals). Great breakfast, well equipped, with lots of privacy. This area is central to a lot of nature reserves in both The Netherlands and Belgium. It is close to Antwerp and very close to several historic second world war locations you can freely explore or get guided tours for. (A lot of activity happened here) You will want a car to get out of the cute but small town itself. International train connectivity to major European cities via Roosendaal -> Antwerp.
