Positive: I stayed in a second floor bedroom with bath and shower. My room had a nook area in front of a garden window with a nice view of the ocean. There was a little table and two chairs in front of the window Although the room and building is older, I found my room to be very clean which I appreciate when traveling. The location was really nice and quiet. There was some traffic noise as well as airplane noises earlier in the day, but it got very quiet at night. The attendants were very friendly! Alfonso Gabe some great recommendations for walking around the area. I loved the complimentary WiFi which is important if you don't have cellular service. I was able to walk around town and visit the Magdalena Markets without any worries for my safety.

Negative: I can't say that I didn't like anything. The cost of the room and its location was perfect for me. I spent most of my days touring around Lima so I wasn't concerned about the room. However, if you want a more hotel experience then this may not be the place for you.

Summary: Perfect spot on the edge of the city and close to the ocean in San Miguel neighborhood in Lima.
