Positive: We enjoyed staying in our huge cave room and the bathroom with large free standing bath was a novelty. It is in a great location right on the path at the bottom of the Ilhara valley so is a good base for hiking. The food was very tasty and the staff friendly and helpful.

Negative: All the pictures showing the relaxing areas by the river are wrong as they are no longer there. If you are an independent traveller without a car, arrange a pickup before you go into the valley as the price they charged for the 30 min trip to the bus station was very expensive.

Positive: For me this hotel is a great experience, one unique (as far as I’m aware) to Cappadocia. You should be aware that the wifi is so weak as to be non-existent for all practical purposes; while I consider this a blessing, for my teenage son it was a curse. (The shower was also a sitting shower in a bathtub, which doesn’t bother me, but might bother some.) The main plus is the vicinity to the Ihlara valley itself (just steps away), which is one of the most beautiful places I have experienced in Turkey – beautiful, cool, and refreshing.

Positive: Great place if you want to spend couple of nights in the wilderness. Owners are very kind and serve great food in the restaurant. In the rooms you could feel like a real villager living among old furniture and spend a night in almost empty village.

Negative: Toilet and shower are in the cabins inside one of the rooms- we knew it before coming there so it was fine - but I understand that it can be uncomfortable for someone. And ask for prices in front, kitchen is relatively expensive there

Positive: The staff was wonderful and welcoming willing to help in whatever way possible. They gave us a ride back to the city at a reasonable rate. Room has a rustic look. Good for taking pictures. The room had a space heater which was needed as the weather got cold. Great bathtub. Easy access to hiking trails.

Negative: The room needed to be aired out because it had a mildew smell and dusty. We slept with the door open to get fresh air. This hotel is far from the city. You can get close but there is no public transport to the hotel itself. It stops 2.7 kilometers away. You’ll need to arrange the last part with taxi, hotel owner, or hitch hike. It’s best to have a rental car or pay a taxi to get there.

Positive: Everything was perfect. Ozi and Nura are amazing hosts, they made our stay in Belisirma very comfortable and unforgettable. The cave room is an interesting experience and off the beaten path in Capadoccia. Great choice for travelers who don't like crowds. Thank you Ozi and Nura!
