Positive: The house located right at the sea is absolutely beautiful and renovated with an eye to detail and a gorgeous terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast was the best in Tunisia thus far, and Selma was super helpful to make sure we had a good stay. We can absolutely recommend to do a bicycle tour through Kerkennah that she helped us to organize. Everyone we met in Kerkennah - be it taxi drivers, people on the road, people giving us lifts, chats at the café - was so warm, open and welcoming we would return to the island any minute!

Negative: For travellers without a car, it might be worth noting that restaurant options within the village are quite limited, and it makes sense to pre-arrange for food with Beit el Ezz. If you are up for a swim, the village beach is one of the most beautiful and cleanest we have seen but is a fishing site so you have to take a taxi to a swimming beach. If you are up for some remote and quiet time, Ouled Yaneg is the perfect location to stay!

Positive: The guesthouse is a very characterful building right next to the sea, the views are lovely, the place is really peaceful, the room was clean and comfortable, communication from the host was very good, breakfast was excellent as was the seafood meal I had there.
