Positive: A clean, cosy, comfortable place to land. Perfect for attending graduation at nearby Temple University ( TUJ). The hosts have provided everything for your stay, too. I enjoyed the city view, too.

Positive: The stay is clean and spacious enough for us. It’s come with a lot of amenities as well which is more than what a usual stay would provide. The host are very attentive to the details of the guest such as provide extension cord, adapter, and an instruction manual on how to use their amenities. It’s on the 8th floor which has an unblock view that is pretty nice. Checking in and out is also very easy. The host is also really sweet to welcome us with the local snacks which I really appreciate the kind gesture. Apart from that, they are always available to answer questions and also really helpful to remind guest what to look out for check in and out.

Negative: What I didn’t like is beyond what the host can resolve which is the ageing of the building. I think the host did a great and wonderful job maintaining the apartment which makes up for it. The narrow staircases once out of the lift which can be quite a hindrance for big luggage but it’s not a big problem.

Positive: Beige is cozy and cute. It is set up well with conveniences that helped make our stay comfortable. (I liked that there was a washer/dryer in the apartment.) The building was near a busy street, but inside it was quiet and we slept well. Nice morning views of the city from the balcony. The area is VERY convenient— lots of lovely small streets in the neighborhood lined with vintage shops, small eateries, taverns. There are grocery stores, convenience stores, and retail shopping also all within a few minutes walk. The train station is less than a 10 min walk away and only 2 stops to Shibuya station, a main hub to access anywhere. Rie and Rumi were very thoughtful and very responsive to email. Would certainly stay here again! Thank you so much!

Negative: There is a big step up to the bathroom, but we got used to it.

Positive: Our daughter was in Tokyo before us moving into her dorm for Temple university. Apartment was very close to the campus and allowed us to visit and tour the school and spend time with her before our departure. Neighborhood was very nice. Reiko’s directions were perfect. I emailed her several times with Questions and despite the time difference between Chicago and Tokyo she always responded promptly. Apartment was a great base to visit other places in downtown Tokyo like Shibuya and Shinjuku as well. Hope to visit again when our daughter is out of school

Positive: Close to many attractions. A little walk to the train station but still ok. Comfy beds. Small dining area n kitchen gives us more room.

Negative: Need to climb a rather high step before entering the toilet. Toilet is small and no bidet. It would have been perfect except for the toilet.

Summary: Reasonable. More suitable for young travellers. Not for older folks due to the toilet.

Positive: Great location, a little out of Shibuya and the madness but still lots to do and places to eat around. Every side street has something to discover and there’s an area filled with authentic izikayas (small bars & restaurants). A 15 min walk to train station & two stops to shibuya- super easy. Beds were very comfortable too & amenities a were everything we need.

Negative: Bathroom was a little small for us being tall but still manageable. Towels were too small, same reason.

Summary: Loved it. Super helpful staff, clean & tidy with everything we needed. If you love to explore more of the local side

Positive: Beige is a very cozy apt. I love how Rieko was very considerate and welcoming! She prepared a lot of small and useful stuff for us to use during our stay. We love how convenient and comfortable Beige is!

Negative: The property inside is wonderful! The outside was a little shady when we first walked into the apt building. It’s a bit old. But I love they have elevator so it’s really easy to transport our luggages.
