Summary: November 2022 Lovely old cottage suited our needs. Ian happy to let us use their wine glasses, and extra things like strong safe torches for our night walks to the local East Dart Inn pub. Enjoyable stsy and comfortable beds.

Summary: This place was nice though the shower was unsatisfactory for my husband. I don’t have a problem with the European-style shower bar—in fact I prefer it—but he does, and had trouble getting it to work consistently. The glassed-in breakfast room was nice.

Summary: Lovely old cottage in beautiful village of Postbridge. The owners, Ian and Sarah, were very welcoming and cooked a mean English breakfast, including black pudding and freshly laid eggs courtesy of their six free-ranging chickens. We stayed in the family room which, with two adults and two kids, would be fairly tight, but perfectly adequate for us. It was clean and comfortable and had pleasant views over the pond in the garden. The guest area downstairs had comfortable sofas and a good supply of books and games. You need to navigate quite a few steps in the property which makes life tricky for those with mobility issues, and the shower was located in the bath which, again, isn't great if you are not so mobile. But overall, a lovely place, with friendly hosts. Would recommend.
