Positive: Ricky and Marilyn messaged me on the day of our journey down to arrange arrival time and key collection. We let them know our progress and arrival time. They met and greeted us. Let us know information, asked about our travels and stay. Mid week they knew we were at a family wedding and they kindly messaged saying they had thought about the day and hoped it went well. They were very lovely hosts and would recommend this property. The property was lovely. With a vegetable patch to the side and gardens to front and back. Like staying at Mr McGregors house, which our toddler loved. The cottage was lovely and warm during a November cold snap.

Negative: Nothing we didn’t like. Only thing I would comment for safety is myself and my toddler ended up accidentally slipping down the stairs on different times. Just a simple slip. But all we had to do is take the steps steady each time we came down them. It’s a lovely old cottage with a short sharp staircase. Of course you have to be careful.

Summary: Lovely cottage in the ‘middle of nowhere’ yet close to amenities.

Positive: The hosts were very kind, attentive and welcoming - offerred us a welcome bundle of goodies including wine, milk, fruit, tea, coffee, etc. They were very attentive and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was alright and we were enjoying our stay. The cottage itself is very cozy inside and it has all the amenities one could wish for. It is situated in an idyllic parcel of green, with a beatiful well looked-after garden with nice tress, flowers and a pond. It is very peaceful, there was ample parking and it felt very safe around. We couldn't wish for more! We really relaxed there, something we all needed!
