Positive: Beautiful place, very quiet amid the bustling streets of Rotterdam. Will definitely stay again, longer. Great location, and the owners were wonderfully accommodating.

Negative: No extra pillows, shirt visit maybe they were there and we just needed to ask for them? No way to turn the heat up in the rental BB, on cold mornings it would be a nice warm area just while drying off.

Positive: A great and varied breakfast each morning. It’s ideally situated a 5/10 minute walk from the railway station through residential streets with a small park. The other side of the station is the city centre with, shops, restaurants and other cultural sites.

Negative: Roadworks meant we had a slight detour to get to the city centre. Plus cyclists are everywhere, coming at you from left, right and behind, even on the pavement you’re not safe from these people. You need your head on a swivel. But that’s the same anywhere you go in the Netherlands.

Positive: Friendly welcome & tips on places to see in Rotterdam. Spacious studio with view over & access to lovely garden. Interesting, quirky house. Delicious, fresh breakfasts. Very close to public transport links - approx 5 minutes walk from Rotterdam Centraal - and at same time very quiet, peaceful space to be in. Enjoyed Rotterdam - easy to get around, interesting architecture, friendly people. Highly recommended.

Negative: Nothing. Would book again.

Positive: Thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night stay. Breakfast was cheerfully brought every day by Remko. We enjoyed the lush outdoor seating and sometimes saw the chickens. The beds were very comfortable and for anyone who has any concerns about the bathroom and shower being seperate, please know there is no issue whatsoever about privacy as guests enjoy the entire main floor. There is a grocery store within a short walking distance and the best in terms of location was the very pleasant walk along a tree lined canal to get to this B&B from the main train station in about 10 minutes. We had an early train departure to leave Rotterdam and it was so very much appreciated that Machteld prepared a generous breakfast bag to go. Wonderful hosts and a great place to stay.

Positive: The apartment is absolutely charming and was perfect for our short stay in Rotterdam. It had everything we could have wished for, including a lovely terrace overlooking the garden where we could enjoy a brief break from sightseeing. The location is very convenient - only a short walk from the main station - and the apartment itself is very quiet, even though the house is on a main road. The hosts, Machteld and Remko, were very helpful and welcoming and they served us a delicious breakfast. We would love to come back!
