Negative: Nothing. But a washing machine would have been great.

Positive: Excellent location made for easy walking through the old town. Close to amenities such as bakeries, groceries, pharmacy, winter Christmas markets. The apartment was absolutely spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. Beautifully appointed, warm and comfortable. Friendly host. Would come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended.

Negative: Nothing - everything was perfect.

Positive: Sara was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble, she made us feel so welcome. The apartment had everything you needed , with a fantastic modern touch.

Positive: Exceptional location, host and apartment. Fabulous living area and the bedrooms were great for a family of 4 (even with 2 big teenagers). Fridge and kitchen so you can cook a meal if you choose. We loved being across from the Castle and the fact that we could walk around the old town. Sara showed us through the apartment and gave us good recommendations for places to eat, do some washing (we stayed 5 nights!) etc. This was a great location to allow exploring of Ghent, as well as day trips to Ypres, Bruges and Brussels.

Negative: Only minor thing was that there was no washing machine, but a laundromat was close by. This was really only an issue due to our length of stay.
