Positive: We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated and well-maintained 19th-century farmhouse. The property was very spacious, with private access to the entire place and plenty of free parking within the property. Hans, the owner, personally welcomed us and gave us a quick tour, which was very helpful in getting familiar with the house. What made the stay special was the way the historic character has been preserved. Many old farmhouse items and artefacts are displayed around the property, and the small traditional bedroom cabins have been maintained with beds. It was fascinating to see, and our kids especially loved exploring them. The kitchen was well equipped with a stove and all the basic essentials needed for cooking. Overall, it was a unique and memorable experience for our family. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!
Negative: There was nothing in particular that we disliked about the property. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Positive: As we were walking tourists, the Owner drove us to the station as it was raining. Thank you! Lovely breakfast delivered to our room.
Negative: The location is good for people with their own transport but too far for us walkers. No taxis at the train station at 1730.

Positive: We absolutely loved this beautiful, historic family home. It was in walking distance to Meppel or biking distance to Staphorst. Hans was a fantastic host who made sure we were comfortable. I loved everything about this place, especially once I realized it was indicative of old Dutch farmhouses from days gone by. There were even storks nearby to keep us busy bird watching.
Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like.
