This is a Luxury bungalow which is equipped to a high standard. Offering ample indoor and outdoor space to make your holiday extra special and comfortable. The property benefits from a generator should a power outage occur.
All bedrooms are beautifully decorated with Egyptian cotton bed linen, Orthopedic mattresses, parquet flooring throughout, air conditioning/heating, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, fly screens and floor fans. The Master en-suite has patio doors leading out to the poolside terrace which offers glorious mountain views. All rooms are decorated with comfort and space in mind.
The lounge, which overlooks the pool, has comfortable seating and large smart TV. French doors open onto the poolside terrace which has an outside seating area for lounging around or al fresco dining. The garden and pool area are almost totally secluded with ample covered shaded area. Sun beds are wider than normal and very comfortable. Beach Towels are provided.
The fully fitted kitchen has a large seating area with patio doors leading to the poolside terrace. A Nespresso Coffee machine, air fryer and electric juicer is available for use along with filtered tap water to ensure guests are not having to purchase bottled water. Also included is free Wi-Fi internet, bath and beach towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and off street parking. For 10+ night bookings there is a weekly maid service, free of charge, to change bed linen, if required, towels, hoover and mop. A welcome pack is also provided and included in the booking fee. If you have any special requirements please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
A lot of thought has gone into accommodating guests to the fullest. We want all our visitors to have the best possible rest/dream holiday ever. We understand families with young children seat them in front of the tv with snacks. I do request that beach towels are put on the soft furnishings to avoid spillage and stains resulting in professional cleaning services which will be deducted from the guests deposit. Thank you

Getting here:
You have a choice of flying to Ercan airport (North Cyprus) with a transfer time of 25 minutes. Alternatively, for a wider choice of airlines, fly to Larnaca (South Cyprus) with a transfer time of 90 minutes. We can arrange airport transfers and car hire at cost.
Location:
The Summer Retreat is within walking distance to the sea, local supermarket, bakery, café, cash point/bank and the Fez Restaurant and Bar, which offers weekly live entertainment. A fifteen minute drive will bring you to the stunning Kyrenia Town Centre with its many shops and beautiful harbour; Kyrenia Castle housing the oldest Shipwreck and the famous Bellapais Abbey, which is nestled in the mountain village with unique shops and restaurants.
The main turtle sanctuary of Alagadi is a 10 minute drive and the amazing Korinium Golf course is only a 15 minutes’ drive. Further afield is the Karpaz peninsula nature reserve with its spectacular scenery.
Whatever you are looking for The Summer Retreat serves as a good centre point. The Capital, Nicosia (Lefkosa), is a 30 minute drive away and offers fabulous winding cobbled streets offering local wares, historical buildings and local local cafes and restaurants.

Summary: Villa furnished beautifully, kitchen very well equipped. However, I strongly feel it was not checked over prior to our arrival. Lots of hiccups,TV not working, no BBQ, towel rail hanging off one side, shower head broken, no instructions for the safe, all fixed over time, but inconvenience and hassle for us. The main issues were a major construction site nearby, one large hotel and several villas being built, which created considerable amount of noise and dust, it also blocked the sea view that the villa was advertised with, which was one of the reasons we chose the villa.The villa next door was also being refurbished, contributing even more noise.We were not advised of these building works, either at the time of booking or at any point prior to our arrival. I called the owner on our first day to raise the issues she said she would give us a full refund if we preferred to relocate elsewhere. We are all over 65 first time in this area, and had no idea where else to go, so decided to stay. This in hindsight was a mistake, we did not realise just how noisy and dusty it was.Another major issue was the pool,the first time the pool men visited, I told them it wasn't clean, they said it needed chemicals and salt. The water still didn't recirculate properly therefore leaving insects, leaves and dirt floating in the water, obviously the pump was defective.They finally replaced the pump, but sadly only 5 days before we left the villa.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay, the location was just perfect – peaceful, yet still close to shops and restaurants. The house itself was very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We especially loved the charming details in the decor and the beautiful garden, where we spent many cozy evenings. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly from booking to check-out. We felt completely at home here and will definitely come back.

Summary: We had a lovely time. It was everything we needed, quiet, private spacious and comfortable. Towels and bed linen were really good quality. Owner was hugely helpful with taxis, hire car and shopping. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: The villa had all that we needed. Down a quiet street off the main coast road. Good AC units throughout which are on timers so you do have to switch them back on in the night if you need more than 2 hours cooling. We didn’t find this a problem Well equipped kitchen with air fryer, microwave, full size oven and gas hob. Large fridge/freezer. Very comfortable beds Pool area was wonderful with a very comfortable covered outdoor sitting area to escape the sun or relax in the evening. Also very comfortable sun beds. Could not fault the villa and would definitely return. We hired a car as the heat and roads not great for walking anywhere. Fantastic beach club 5 mins drive which also had a great seafood restaurant. Overall, a great stay.

Summary: The bungalow is just amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. We thought ourselves very lucky to have found this property. Hayat was great, fixed any small issues we had, arranged our car hire and her welcome pack was lovely and informative. You really won't be disappointed staying here. Thank you Hayat for having us!

Summary: I've just got back from a lovely 2 week break at this stunning villa. Communication with Hyat right from the start was excellent. The villa is beautiful and is equipped with everything you would need. Half way through our stay the cleaners came in and did a fantastic job! We also arranged our car hire and transfers through Hyat, which was very easy to do. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Summary: Spacious and comfortable inside and out. Nicely decorated with modern, well equipped kitchen. Lots of lounging areas, both covered and uncovered, around the pool. Quiet, well kept neighborhood, close to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning a return stay for later this year
