This lovely highly appointed Farmhouse is nestled in the picturesque and peaceful rolling countryside of the Pergord Limousin Naturel Parc, less than 5 minutes drive from bakers, grocers, butchers, chemist, bar, restaurants and lakeside sandy beaches and within striking distance of world famous landmarks and attractions such as spectacular Rocamadour, Paderac, the moving war memorial village of Oradour sur Glane, the world class vineyards of Bergerac and Bordeaux and 2 hours drive from the ski slopes of Le Mont-Dore in the 'Massif du Sancy'.
The Farmhouse is exceptionally well equipped with washing machine, dish washer, a large range cooker, French and English satellite TV and a large stone fireplace with wood burning stove. Outside, the private garden provides a BBQ and seating and eating area for 6 people.

Summary: Amazing location, very clean and pool was great. Jane and Steve where very welcoming and made the stay even better. Lots of lovely places to eat within 25min drive

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing break here. Pool was a bonus as we had great weather. Many places to visit including the Dordogne region which was just 90 mins away by car. Would recommend the Chateau de Gateu tea room just 15 minutes drive for breakfast or lunch.

Summary: This is our second visit to Jane and Steve’s property. We don’ often return to the same place but came back as we were so impressed last time and they didn’t disappoint. The property has absolutely everything you could possibly want, it’s so well equipped, spacious and impeccably clean. The village is very quiet which adds to the relaxing vibe but you aren’t a particularly long drive from anywhere. We can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Summary: We booked the house to visit with my family (wife and 3 kids) plus parents in law. The house was perfectly set up for this, with 3 bedrooms in 1 area and the 4th above the living room. The house was in a fantastic location, with great facilities and very clean (we were even given a bottle of wine and a few beers which was very welcome after a long drive and limited supermarkets open on the day)! The owners were most welcoming, and the pool was warm with perfect views. Everything we were looking for!

Summary: This house is delightful. We were really quite late getting there after a long trip but Jane was still willing to give us a full tour of the house and gardens. Everything was spotlessly clean and I’d be very surprised if there was something in the house you wanted that wasn’t supplied. The village is very quiet which only added to the appeal. We went out most days, coming back for a few lazy hours by the pool. We had the most restful, relaxing holiday we’ve had in years. Can’t wait to go back!

Summary: We have visited France quite a few times and this is by far the best presented, well equipped and cleanest house we have ever stayed in. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Jane who gave us a quick tour and a few helpful pointers. The kids were eager to use the pool and weren’t disappointed, the large garden gave the energetic boys plenty of space to kick a ball, throw a frisbee and play badminton, all at the same time if they had wanted to. We followed Janes advice and visited the evening food market at Ségur-le-Château, sampling venison kebab and local cider. Well worth a trip ( maybe take some plates and cutlery? ) After reading the comments of previous visitors in the guest book we also decided to take the short drive to Oradour-sur-Glane the martyr village. What an experience? So glad we took the time to go, everyone should go if they get a chance. We all loved our stay and there were absolutely no faults to be found with the house and the hospitality of the hosts, we would love to come again in the future, can’t wait to see how the piggery turns out. It is really difficult to find anything negative to say, maybe if we were being super picky, some more shade around the pool? Not really a negative though is it? Thanks again to the whole family, hope to stay again soon. The Wilson & Gidden families

Summary: Family of 7 stayed for 1 week, beautiful house, very welcoming family. Everything you can think of that you would need is in the house. Very clean and peaceful. Pool was great for the kids. 2 different bakerys around 5- 10 mins drive away. Nearest shop/supermarket is around 20 mins away. We all really enjoyed our stay here and would recomend it for a peaceful holiday in France.

Summary: We stayed in the barn belonging to Steve and Jane earlier this summer and we loved it, so we decided we'd try out another of their properties on our return to France, and this time we stayed in the farm. We were delighted with it. It is as gorgeous as it looks on the photos and it is immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you need during a stay away from home. I would highly recommend this farmhouse to anybody. It's in a great location with lots going on, and some lovely restaurants nearby. We especially liked the French bread from the shop coming out of Ladignac le Long, and we had the best pain aux raisins from there. Everything to like, they even provided sunshine!!
