Summary: This apartment is in a very attractive building, in beautiful surroundings and in a very convenient location. Peter and Sue were very attentive and friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself was exactly as shown on the website, and despite the cold weather while we were there, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice and warm the apartment was. It was clean and well stocked, and has a great boulangerie/patisserie just across the road. Pons is very pretty and is is very well located for access to the coast, to Saintes and Cognac and other beautiful towns, and also has great access to the motorway for visits to Bordeaux and other areas further afield. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a self catering break as a base for exploring the area.
