The Villa "Mathis" is a large air-conditioned Family House situated in a private cul-de-sac, 5 minutes from the old town of Antibes and its large marina. This House on 2 levels exposed Full South in the middle of a small housing estate of villas, is posed on a ground of 800 m ² with 1000 meters of the sea. It is 3 minutes from BIOT golf and in the heart of all amenities. This house will offer you a cozy living space it will make your stay relaxing and entertaining both indoors and in the garden.
Villa Mathis has been relooked in 2018 in a rather contemporary style. Each piece has been carefully redesigned and decorated. The overall atmosphere that comes out is serene. Two Saint-Tropez abutting rooms of the last level will give you the opportunity to tan in peace and privacy.
Our garden with swimming pool (8 ml X 4 m) l flat bottom (1.50 m) positioned in the middle of the garden surrounded by a plot of grass and its minimalist vegetation. A large wooden pergola, equipped with a bar, a barbecue and various places of life.
A SPA with 5 places is located in a room on the ground floor overlooking the garden. You can, if you wish, to reserve this space relaxation according to tariff and regulation provided in complement.
This large house has all the assets to spend a pleasant stay on the Riviera near the most beautiful villages (Antibes, Nice, St. Paul de Vence, Juan les Pins, Cannes, Monaco ...)

Every room is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The layout worked wonderfully for a group our size, with plenty of space to gather together as well as quiet corners for relaxing.What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of Eric, the owner. He is an absolute gem — welcoming, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful time. Eric couldn’t do enough for us, and his thoughtful touches made all the difference. We felt completely at ease and thoroughly looked after.The outdoor space is equally magical — ideal for morning coffee, long lunches, and sunset toasts. Whether we were lounging by the pool or enjoying the peaceful garden, we felt like we had found our own private paradise in Antibes.We cannot recommend Villa Mathis highly enough. It was the perfect setting for our celebration, and we’re already dreaming about coming back!

Summary: We had a very nice stay in Erics house. The house is very well equipped and we havent missed anything. Antibes is a good location in order to start sightseeing tours from there. Having a rental car is nice to have, but not mandatory. Bus- or train connections are available and stations are not far away. Eric is very helpful and sooo friendly! We felt very good over there. Summary: A great villa with everything you need in a perfect location near the sea and amazing towns (plus right next to bus stop and close to two train stations for easy access to anywhere you want to go) hosted by the extremely helpful Eric and translator Ylan. Nothing was a problem from arriving to leaving. Everything was spotless including the pool and outside bar and seating/sunbathing areas. Very private with a drive to keep your car safe behind an eletric gate. Would definitely book again if we return to the South of France.

Summary: Eric was the perfect host, providing clear directions for check in and out, a comprehensive manual and was on hand by text for any other questions. The villa is very comfortable and the outside area is great. We stayed home and cooked several nights, you have everything you need in the kitchen and a great bbq grill too. The pool and jacuzzi are wonderful and beds are comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Summary: We have just returned from a wonderful week in Antibes staying at Villa Mathis. The Villa has a great sized pool and hot tub and the internal deco is of a high standard. The location of the villa is really useful for trips into all areas of Antibes and is only around 20 minutes from the Airport at Nice. We did day trips to Monte Carlo, Nice & Cannes and it was all very easy and straight forward. The Train was also very close. Eric was a great host and was in regular communications with us. Nothing was too much to ask. And the icing on the cake was the home made Pissaladière made for us. Overall I’d highly recommend Villa Mathis and would love to return.

Summary: We had the most wonderful holiday in Eric's villa. Nothing was too much trouble for him to assist with. We arrived to a very welcome cold drink at the outside bar from our host. The villa was simply beautiful and perfect for our family. It is in a quiet area, but you can still walk into Antibes within 25 mins. The airport also is only a 20 min drive away. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and be able to chill out. There is a small supermarket a 5 min walk away, and also the larger Lidl is a 5 min drive away (that is definitely much cheaper than the large Carrefour). The hot tub was such a treat to enjoy after a day exploring the area. I would recommend seeking out the beautiful smaller villages in the area such as Biot (5 min drive) and St Paul de Vence (30 min drive) - that was just the most beautiful village with lots of little shops, restaurants and art work. We would go back in a heartbeat. We are so grateful to Eric for helping to make the stay so perfect for us.

Summary: The villa was wonderful. Well equipped, lots of storage. The beds were super comfy with good quality clean linen. The outside facilities were amazing, the pool, spa, fun outside bar area and kitchen. We had a most relaxing and comfortable stay. Eric, the host met us with a warm welcome and full overview of the villa and local knowledge. Easy to use the bus into Antibes with then excellent access to the train network. Overall excellent villa and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
