This 1885 Marcuse & Remmel Victorian flat is perfect for visiting family or a holiday in the beautiful and historical island of Alameda. Within walking distance to local restaurants, cafes, bars, and boutique stores. Also a 15 minute walk to Alameda beach.
The home is light filled with large Victorian windows and each bedroom has a queen size Tempurpedic mattress. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There is a clawfoot tub with a shower head as well as shower handle in the second bathroom. The kitchen is a chef's dream with Carrara marble countertops. The sun room leads out to the balcony overlooking the serene garden. There is a twin size Tempurpedic mattress in the daybed in the sunroom which can accommodate a 5th guest.

Summary: Neighborhood was really fun. Place was cute and had everything we needed. Only point I would make is the two bathrooms were in rooms (if you use the sun room as a bedroom) so there was no bath for the 3rd room.

Summary: The house is amazing! Plenty of space, very well appointed, extremely clean, tastfully decorated with a lot of attention to detail and high-quality furniture. The beds are very comfortable and the garden with its flowers and lemon trees is so beautiful! We felt immediately at home and would have loved to stay longer! Well located, the street is lovely as well and the area very calm and safe. We went by bus and ferry (very nice ride approaching the skyline of SF like that) and the other day by bus/BART to SF and it just took 30-45 min all in all.
