Positive: We had a studio suite near the main house just outside a small village. It was a lovely change from being in cities and was very quiet. Very nice area of France and convenient for checking out the chateau’s in the area. Our host was very hospitable and had put together a book of places to see or restaurants to go to in the area.

Positive: This well equipped studio is tucked right under the owner’s balcony. Marike and Hans gave us a warm welcome and good directions for what was available locally. We loved the fact that the area wasn’t touristy. If you are willing to drive a bit, then there are mountains to climb and spectacular castles to see. We loved the hammock.
