This beautiful villa offers everything you could imagine of a holiday away from the typical tourist trail.We have had excellent reviews from our past guests so we are sure you will enjoy it too. Set in an elevated position at the edge of a small hamlet, the villa is in a large beautifully landscaped, private plot. The mountain views that surround the villa are particularly stunning. The villa has it's own secluded outdoor pool within it's spacious garden and own fruit trees. There is also a pétanque court. The area is perfect for walking or cycling or just relaxing by the pool and taking in the peaceful location. Inside the tastefully decorated villa, it has everything you need to make your stay a memorable one. The local town of Albox is only a 5 minute drive and this quaint Spanish town holds a market on Tuesdays and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. You could be at the nearest beach within 40 minutes where you could swim in the Mediterranean Sea. The nearest golf course is a short drive away. However you decide to spend your well earned holiday, we are sure you will be enchanted by the beautiful villa and setting. Summary: Villa is in a great location in a quiet hamlet 5mins drive from Albox great scenery. Bill was very friendly quick responses when needed help or advise. Swimming pool was clean and was cleaned once a week whilst we were there. Well equipped home from home would definitely book again

Summary: What can I say? This villa has everything you will need for a fabulous holiday. It has beautiful surroundings, fab pool and a great interior. It really is perfect. Summary: Upon arrival, we had to redo the dishes, because a lot of plates, forks, etc were a bit greasy. But ampart form that: all was more than well. Wonderful house, great surroudings, lots to do and to visit in Almeria Province.

Summary: Casa Maydell is relaxing, well equipped and perfectly situated. Very simple check in with minimal disruption throughout our stay. There are plenty of amenities close by whilst still maintaining a good separation from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A beautiful, clean and modern villa which is comfortably equipped for the rare rainy days. We had a fantastic, relaxing stay and wholeheartedly recommend this property. We would gladly go here again.

Summary: The house is bigger than equivalent properties in Spain. It has all the necessary appliances in the kitchen. We appreciated the conservatory and the chimney, which make the house confortable in winter. You have to be aware that you cannot put paper or anything in the toilet though...

Summary: We all enjoyed our stay at the Casa Maydell, an ideal base for exploring the Albox, Cantoria and Arboleas area as well as relatively easy access to the coast for Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera. Bill and Jason Maydell have been extremely accessible and helpful hosts, responding quickly yo any queries which was very helpful. It was also a pleasure to meet Roy each Thursday who maintains the swimming pool to a high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Casa Maydell to family and friends.
