Summary: We have stayed at this property multiple times and will continue to return. The house has amazing views onto Lyman’s Point. You can watch surfers every morning while enjoying your coffee on the lawn. The owners have made several updates to the outdoor area making it more pleasant to be outdoors. We enjoyed the spa several evenings during our stay. The are several walkable restaurants from the home. We will definitely return!

Summary: Lovely home with an incredible view. I was impressed that the home was so maintained. We had a small event there mid October (paid almost $4k for 2 nights with all fees including event fee) and the AC was out. We fumbled with fans and 2 portable AC units that were brought in. We had to vent them in the windows except one unit didn’t have enough panels to vent so we tried to use the blinds to vent and it popped the GFI. It was extremely hot and humid. We did our best shuffling fans. we ended up putting 1 port unit in the kitchen without proper ventilation just vent pointed at window. At one point even tried to leave the freezer open with a fan in front of it to try to cool off the home. It was mid October so probably one of the hotter/more humid days. Getting ready for the event, kept having to take breaks and stand in front of the fans. We were able to cool off the master bedroom with the other portable unit, but the rest of the house was hot. We knew it was out of the owner’s hands and he did bring in the the 2portable units. He was extremely pleasant to deal with, but we were not offered any discount for the trouble. Overall, our evening event turned out lovely, but the trouble of shuffling fans, trying to vent portable units that didn’t have enough panels to cool off the home (i feel) should’ve justified a small compensation, but none was offered. Had the AC situation not happened, it would of been perfect.

Summary: The photos on the VRBO site are completely accurate. This place is magical! Experiencing the sight and sound of the waves rolling into the small bay that is the centerpiece of the house, especially early in the morning and at sunset, was mesmerizing. The house is just far enough away from Kona center to feel private, but close enough to get supplies, dinner, etc.
