Summary: About 5 minutes walk to beach, but note that often tide is out so then it is another 5 minutes to water. House was well supplied. Backyard in ground trampoline and Bocceball games were fun. Beds were okay, it was hot and beds felt like they didn’t breath that much so we were sweaty often even keeping window open all night. Bugs aren’t that bad but wasps when eating were annoying. An umbrella in backyard would be really helpful due to direct sun. We ended up moving the outdoor table to shade of jacuzzi shelter as needed.

Summary: Our group of 6 unrelated, middle-aged adults shared this space for 4 nights. We had a good stay overall. The location was superb with a supermarket and bike rental just 240m away, the beach a short walk/bike ride. The shops and restaurants of charming Ouddorp are just 2 kms away. The bedrooms were a decent size although the window in one of them (a skylight) did not open so the room became warm and stuffy. There was plenty of lounging space inside and outside the house. The neighbours were respectful and quiet. Access to the unit itself was easy using a lock-box. However, the property was initially confusing to find, in spite of the clear directions provided by the owner, because the address on the confirmation is printed with the wrong street number. Simply updating the printed address from 33 to 37 would address the issue. The kitchen had good amenities, as did the bathrooms. We understood that the rental would not towels included (that costs extra) but we wished that the rental had included toilet paper and that the beds had been made.
