Old Fairview Cabin is a beautiful one-bedroom, custom built log cabin. It is located just minutes from downtown historic Abingdon and minutes from the Virginia Creeper Trail. It offers a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. Old Fairview is family owned and operated, insuring an immaculate and refreshing log cabin ready for your visit. The cabin was built by the owner and his family from logs dating back to the 1800's. It is located on the property of the owner, nestled in a patch of trees providing a very peaceful and relaxing setting. There is an outdoor fireplace on a covered back porch and a covered front porch where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. The cabin is fully furnished and has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The cabin features a loft bedroom with a queen bed and small antique twin bed. There is cable TV and a large walk-in tile shower. Bathroom is on lower level and the bedroom is on the upper level.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at the cabin and it was exactly as described. It was a perfect location to the town if Abingdon. We rode the shuttle from Abingdon up to white top and biked the whole 34 miles back to Abingdon. Loved the cabin and the owners were very accommodating. Hope to go back with the kids one day.
