Positive: The house was quaint and close to the ocean and Santa Monica pier.

Negative: The property was on a very busy street so make sure you have earplugs if you are light sleeper. It’s also oddly decorated and furnished inside with everything from leather couches to Egyptian pyramids. Plus, and this was not mentioned anywhere prior to our getting there, the owner lives on the backside of the house and can be heard from time to time. You could also smell her spicy food when it’s cooking.

Summary: you get what you pay for. And it’s nice to have a reasonably priced home versus overpriced hotel rooms.

Positive: Loved the Location plus house was peaceful & beautiful. It felt like we were in Europe. Nice patio with garden & kitchen was well equipped. Washer & dryer was an added feature. It was so comfortable we chose to stay there rather than be a tourist on this trip.

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like. We all enjoyed everything and plan to return for another family reunion.

Positive: The location was good. A nice part of santa monica.

Negative: The place needed updating. There were broken wall sockets that didn't look safe. There was no hot water had to leave the shower running for 20 minutes to get it warm. It was very shabby.
