Summary: We were surprised reading some of the past reviews, as it honestly felt like they were describing a different cabin than the one we stayed in. While the cabin did meet our basic needs, it wasn’t fully stocked as we had expected. For example, there was only one tea towel and no dish rag (we eventually found a full load of towels left in the dryer, which included the dish rag). There was also a missing sheet for the couch bed, no salt, and no hairdryer available.The outdoor setup could use a bit of attention as well—there were only three chairs at the patio table even though the cabin is meant for four guests, and the same issue existed around the firepit area. Bird droppings from a nest above had also left the deck less enjoyable to use.Overall, the cabin worked for a short stay, but a little extra attention to stocking and upkeep would make the experience much more comfortable for guests.

Summary: We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The advertisement is exactly what we received. The indoors is very comfortable and beautiful. When we went out the back door and onto a deck the length of the house....we felt instant calm. This place was so serene and private...we fell in Love with the place. The firepit is a perfect added touch, where an evening fire was a perfect way the end the day. All the essentials were at our finger tips with ease and comfort. The host was very accommodating and easy to contact. THANK YOU so much for a memorable 10 days. We even had the privilege of various birds visiting us.

Summary: Only issue was the water system in the master bedroom has some sort of pressure issue. It makes a loud knocking sound periodically. We ended up sleeping in the spare room. Overall great spot though, and very accomodating. Thank you!

Summary: The house was very comfortable and easy to set up in. The host was very responsive. Everything worked well. Since we had our pet dog with us, we really appreciated that there was a water dish we could use and the deck has a gate and so the dog could go out on the deck freely.

Summary: Directions and communication with the owners was great. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. The huge deck behind the house was beautiful and where we spent a lot of our time. Partly covered deck was great as it was super hot when we were there and enjoyed the shade. Would be great if it was raining as well. Thank goodness for the air conditioning!! Several birds and water creatures to enjoy. The regional park is a 4 minute drive away and has a great beach area and golf course. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Summary: Beautiful and quiet area, love how close the cabin is to the lake and beach! Cozy cabin, comfortably fit the 4 of us. Gave only a 4 for cleanliness of property because outside funiture, deck and BBQ was tidy but obviously has not been cleaned in some time... inside the house was tidy, full stocked and clean 🙂

Summary: The best we have seen for water birds etc. Many geese and ducks and and other water birds. Yard has many beautiful trees and great deck. Lovely cabin and yard and animals, just perfect for us. Pond has many different sights and was a 10 for us. We loved it and wanted to stay forever.

Summary: This home was absolutely charming! It has a cabin feel with super modern amenities. The huge master bedroom was very comfortable and all the linens/towels were very nice. We had everything we needed and more! We used the fire pit a few times and enjoyed the landscaping that gave us a lot of privacy. The owners were very nice and attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay. There were only 2 of us but lots of room for more people. We enjoyed the Roku TV options when we felt like relaxing. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
