Summary: Everything about this house was perfect. I was very impressed with the Heating system because it kept the whole house the same temperature. I’ve been in many houses that had major cold spots and big drafts, but this house did not have any of those problems. It truly is a beautiful and relaxing house. I would absolutely rent it again.

Summary: My wife and I, and our 3 dogs rented the Morris' home for a week and it was exactly what we needed. It is a great house, with everything you would need from a well layed out kitchen (and labeled drawers), to comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and a nice game room/entertainment center in the basement. Even better was the setting, seeing the sun rise over Whiteface when you wake up to having your coffee on the back deck while listening to the creek below. There are trails around the creek that even connect to the Cooper Kiln trail. For those that want to do more outdoor activities, the hosts provided a booklet with many more trails and activities in the area. The house was more than enough for us and its easy to see how it could comfortably have 8+ people stay in it. We would definitely recommend to all and will be back in the future.

Summary: Wonderful place on every level. The home layout and especially kitchen organization is conducive to groups (labels really helped) and all amenities spotlessly clean, functional (hate rentals when pans broken and lights don’t work etc.!) and high quality (towels chairs sheets). I also loved the empty surfaces rather than knick knacks all about! The property with hiking trail and babbling creek was a highlight. We would take our chairs and hang out with dogs there every day. Hannah responsive kind and thoughtful. Her recommendations are spot on. Wilmington has great dining and zero crowds or traffic. Thanks for hospitality. We will be back as we now love the Adriondaks !

Summary: I couldn't recommend this property more. Our family has stayed at this house many times now and absolutely love it. It is a fantastic. It is exactly as advertised if not even better. There is so much to do in the house (games, books, ping pong....) and easy access to both Lake Placid and the High Peaks region (about 20 drive). We absolutely love this house and location. Hannah is also a fantastic host who is very communicative. We will certainly be coming back!

Summary: I don't think there's a single thing this host has forgotten! From detailed instructions and labeled cabinets to extra items you may have forgotten on your trip. The house and property are great and exactly as described. I will say that a few of us did not find the beds very comfortable. If you like a more sturdy bed, you'll be good, but if you like a little extra cushion, consider bringing a topper. Overall great stay.

Summary: Hannah’s home was perfect, five bedrooms and very spacious. It was well stocked and super clean. We loved the fact that there was a ping pong table! The property was beautiful and close to Wilmington and hikes but not near other houses. I would definitely there again.

The location is great to get to both lake placid and hikes. we love this house and will certainly be back.
