SUPER CUTE CONDO IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS! Washer / Dryer in Unit!
The Pines Condominium complex is next to the Show Low Theater in the White Mountains of Arizona. At 7,000 feet altitude the summer temperatures are in the 80's, a good 20-30 degrees lower than in Tucson and Phoenix. In the winter, for our SNOW enthusiasts, you are only a 40 minute drive to the Sunrise Ski resort!
The particular condo is across the parking lot from the clubhouse where the communal grill is located as well as the Laundromat. Two LG portable AC units have been added for summer comfort. Located on the second floor, there is an interior spiral staircase to the third level where the Master is located on in open loft.
This condo has been TOTALLY RENOVATED to be a very clean, bright, cheery, and updated space. The cathedral ceiling to the living space and kitchen make the condo seem much bigger than the 800 sq ft floor plan. The Master is a Queen bed with an en-suite full bath and open loft to the living area. The second bedroom is a twin over full bed with a full en-suite bathroom as well. The outside area in front of the door is just large enough for 2 chairs where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, looking out through the pines to the mountains. The condo currently does have an interior laundry and accepts dogs (only, no cats) for pet fee per stay.
Please check the pictures carefully, this unit is on the second floor with the outside stairs being metal grate. Inside, the spiral stairs to the Master are steep and not very wide, so it would be an effort to drag a big suitcase up there.
There are 2 Smart TVs with NETFLIX for streaming and SLING for local channels, log ins are in the Guest binder. The fireplace is wood burning (please remember to open the flue) and there is a pile of wood in the porch closet to the right, left is locked with cleaning supplies.

Summary: I really enjoyed staying at this property. The host was very helpful with directions to the property and maintained great contact through the course of our stay to make us feel comfortable. The couch was also amazingly comfortable.

Summary: We were thrilled to find this place, very conveniently located, to stay in for four days. We like to travel with our dogs, and the host graciously allows animals. Everything was clean and convenient, the condo well-furnished with nice amenities. The only caveat we would offer is that this is a 2nd floor condo with two stories. You arrive at the lower floor already having climbed 2-1/2 flights of stairs. The master suite is at the top of the spiral staircase. I much enjoyed it (and lost a bit of weight climbing those stairs multiple times/day.) However, someone with bad knees or a weaker older person might find it too much.

Summary: Loved this place! Beautiful kitchen with everything you need. The couch recliner is so comfy and they literally have every app to watch TV. The real wood burning fireplace was such a treat. The owners provided logs and kindling. The spiral staircase lead to a bedroom and bathroom The bedroom has a desk perfect for working and a TV to watch from the bed. Which by the way the bed was so comfortable. For me to say that is alot because I have a very nice temperpedic matress at home and this bed was just as comfortable. Very convenient location close to everything! The manager Stacey was also amazing and easy to get a hold of. This place was great!

Summary: Overall we loved this condo. We appreciated the Christmas decorations and extra touches that were done. The only negative that I can think of is if you are traveling with younger children or older adults-the spiral staircase is pretty steep. The railing is thin with open gaps and some of the steps seems a little shaky. It sits in a quiets condo community that is close to town and not far from Pinetop. Thanks for a great stay!
