4 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Nendaz, Haute-Nendaz

Chalet Le Petit Nid is situated on a quiet road less than 10 minutes walk from the resort centre and the cable car. There are breathtaking panoramic views of the resort and the Bernese Alps from the chalet and a west facing patio for evening relaxation and sun. Haute-Nendaz is part of the “4 Vallées” ski area, the biggest ski resort in Switzerland and one of the biggest in Europe. It links the villages of Nendaz, Verbier, Veysonnaz and Thyon.

The Chalet is on three levels:
Mid-level:
Spacious and comfortable living/dining room with wood burning stove, cable TV, DVD and a Wii games console. Fabulous uninterrupted mountain view from living room.
Open kitchen with oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette and fondu set.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds and en-suite shower/WC.
Lower ground floor:
Entrance hall and jacket/shoe room.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds and en-suite shower/WC.
Toilet / Utility / technical room with washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, iron and ironing board.
Garage with space for one car, with electric ski boot warmer (10 pairs), ski racks and freezer.
Upper-level:
1 large bedroom with kingsize double bed, TV and en-suite bath/shower/WC.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds and en-suite shower/WC.
Outside:
North facing balcony with chairs, and large (42 m2), west facing patio. Patio table and chairs, parasol, charcoal barbecue, sun loungers (4). Very beautiful view of the mountains, the valley and the resort.
Rental cost includes linen and tourist taxes

An extra folding single “Z-bed” is available on request for a child (9th person) to sleep in upper level bedrooms.
Guests must bring own linen, towels and duvet for cot and for extra person in folding bed.
Discounted ski hire is available in Neige Aventure Sports, 300m from chalet, at the bottom of the road if staying in the chalet.
Reserved outside parking for 2 cars. Single garage for one car.
Car is not essential – there is a 25 minute bus ride from Sion railway station with departures every hour and drop off less than 10 minutes from chalet. In the winter months snow chains and winter tyres are essential for access to the chalet.
There is an outside security camera above the front door. There are no cameras inside the property.
Rubbish must be taken away from the chalet on departure.

Summary: A new chalet, all in wood with high quality finish. Well arranged spaces, with nearly all rooms looking over the Rhone valley. Well kitted out. Chalet owner very responsive, though not living nearby.

Summary: This was our first visit to Switzerland as a family of 6 and it was well worth the visit. Chalet as described and the pics don't do it justice. Plenty of space for all of us and the town of Haute Nendaz right on your doorstep. Friendly people and amazing views. Always quick communication from David. Definitely 5*!

Summary: Great chalet - beautiful views, great terrace, low noise, comfortable beds. Communications with David were quick and easy when needed, and home was spotless. Strong wifi, extra freezer, and well-equipped kitchen made for a very enjoyable 10 days. I miss the view at breakfast already. 5 stars all the way around.

Summary: Le Petit Nid is a beautiful chalet in a stunning location. The layout was perfect for 8 adults as all bedrooms have an en-suite and beds rather than bunk beds. The views from the lounge and master bedroom are absolutely stunning both in the daytime and at night. David the chalet owner was very helpful beforehand with information and there is a useful guide in the chalet. Our ages range from 71 to 20 so we took advantage of the ski lockers near the Tracoet lift and found this very worthwhile. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets so perfect if you want to cook yourself or eat out. I would imagine it would also be a great place to visit in the summer. I would love to return to Le Petit Nid one day and would highly recommend. Judy Jan 27th - 2nd Feb 2018
