Summary: what a price for such a nice villa. We came with 25 friends, and it was perfect. 2 separate villas, a huge garden and a lot of stuff to do. Landlady was super cute and nice. It is even nicer than the pictures.

Summary: We were a group of 5 families with children of various ages. The property was spacious and well equipped. There was plenty of room inside and outside for the children to play. Overall, we could not have asked for more.

Summary: 13 adults and 4 children spend a very nice holiday week in this enormes house and super pool. The house offers space and entertainment for everyone. We would like to have had the instructions for the property in english. The property manager was very kind and welcomming, but it was a problem, that she only speeks french.

Summary: A fantastic setting for a family-and-friends holiday. We were a party of 19 people in 5 families and everyone had a wonderful time, plenty of bathrooms and living spaces for everyone to spread out. Bedrooms were large and clean (although it would have been nice if the bathrooms had been supplied with soap, as there was nothing at all to wash our hands with until we'd been to the shops.) The terrace was a lovely setting for mealtimes, and the barbecues and fire pit were well used! Accommodation was split across the two houses but this was no problem - they are very close together with a secure perimeter wall around the grounds. The retractable roof on the pool was great as it allowed us to choose how much sun to let in; most days we just opened it part way so the younger kids could splash about in the shade while those who wanted to could top up their tans at the open end! Water was unheated but a very pleasant temperature as the roof kept it insulated overnight. Table football, petanque, trampoline and ping pong kept all the kids (and grown ups!) entertained. However, the property owner was difficult to get hold of, and I had to contact HomeAway directly to chase up our check in information as 5 days before our holiday I still hadn't received anything. In addition, the owner hadn't made us aware in advance that we would be expected to put down a 1,500 Euro security deposit on arrival, to guard against damages. We found this out when we arrived at the house, which was not the nicest way to start the holiday! However, our deposit was released without question on departure. Gisele, the local lady who cleans and looks after the house (with her husband), and who welcomed us on our arrival was fantastic and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had a few questions during our stay and she was on hand immediately each time to help us out. All in all, a lovely holiday.

Summary: We were a large family group who rented both houses during the summer of 2019. Our family group spanned three generations and we found the property to be perfect for our holiday needs. We were able to combine days at the house, relaxing at the pool or going for walks in the charming surroundings, with day trips to wine districts and towns such as Beaune and Chablis. The local bakery is a short morning walk up the hill. Dijon, with its shops and museums, is a 50-minute drive, but the roads are good and the drive feels like less. We saw a family of otters a few kilometers along the road to Langres and we often saw birds of prey, foxes and deer as well as other local wildlife. All in all, it proved to be a very good location for our group and we would definitely visit the area again. The houses have been modernized and had all of the facilities that we required in the property, which is also walled and gated. There were very good kitchen facilities and a number of activities to keep both children and adults occupied while relaxing at the house. The hosts were generally friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. There was some slight confusion about the deposit and we would also recommend that you receive instructions for the pool house before using it (it's an advantage if you have a French speaker in the group). Apart from that all communication was good and helpful and we appreciated the written information from the hosts in the house itself. We would thoroughly recommend the property.

There were some administrative issues that I was unaware of before arriving that could have been properly communicated but that has nothing to do with this beautiful gem in the most precious setting.
